Product Description

 Red Yeast Rice is produced by the Monascus purpureus with the cereals and water as raw materials in the 100% solid-state fermentation. According to the results from HPLC analysis, the Monacolin K( or mevinolin) in the natural Red Yeast Rice is mainly in the form of acid form Monacolin K( or Mevinolinic acid in the range of 60-85% ), instead of the lactone form. The results demonstrated this product is truly made from fermentation process. Another characteristic feature of this product is that there is no citrinin. Ergosterol,unsaturated fatty acid, amino acids, γ-GABA and active peptides are also found in this product, enduing this products more functional gradients and nutrients.

Function

2. Used for lowering blood lipids, lowering total cholesterol, reductase inhibitor, directly inhibiting HNG-coA reductase, blocking cholesterol synthesis.

3.Lovastatin can effectively reduce the serum cholesterol levels in patients with heterozygous familial and non-familial hypercholesterolemia

 Red yeast rice has been used in China for centuries as both a food and as a medicinal substance. red yeast rice is obtained through fermentation of Non-Gmo rice with monascus purpureus which is made from high-quality& non-genetically modified rice with natural solid- liquid fermentation and state out of a natural lovastatin (Monacolin K),have a good stability and good effects on lowering cholesterol.

Monacolin k: the benefit of red yeast rice is attributed to the presence of HMG-COA reduetase inhibitor ,that control the amount of cholesterol produced in the liver ,it has been hypothesized that relatively high concentrations of unsaturated fatty acids and other natural compounds found in Red Yeast rice may work in concert with HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors to provide additional health benefit.
