Magnolia officinalis is stripped from the stems, branches, and roots and used in tradition chinese medicine, where it is known as houpu (thus the common names). This bark is highly aromatic and contains and , two polyphenolic compound that have demonstrated both and anti anxiety properties. It has also been shown to reduce ellergic and asesthetic reactions. Today, the bulk of bark used for commercial and domestic use is supplied by plants in cultivation.
1.Dispel wind and remove dampness
Herba Epimedii has the effect of expelling wind and removing dampness, and can relieve rheumatism pain, joint pain and other symptoms. It is often used to treat rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
2.Diuresis to reduce swelling
Herba Epimedii has diuretic effect, which can help eliminate excess water in the body and relieve edema symptoms. It is often used to treat edematous diseases, such as nephritis and edema caused by heart disease.
3. Tonify kidney and strengthen yang
