Phytase is a phosphate monoester hydrolase, mainly derived from microorganisms and some plant seeds. Phytic acid in plants can be hydrolyzed into orthophosphoric acid and inositol derivatives, and a large amount of zinc and calcium plasma chelated by phytic acid in the gastrointestinal tract can also be released for animal use due to the hydrolysis of phytic acid molecules. Therefore, adding phytase to the diet can improve the utilization rate of phosphorus in feed for single stomach animals such as pigs, promote growth, reduce the amount of inorganic phosphorus added, reduce phosphorus emissions in feces, and reduce environmental pollution. The appropriate amount of phytase added to feed is 150g/t. Phytase is a type of phosphatase that can hydrolyze phytic acid. It can degrade phytate phosphorus (inositol hexaphosphate) in plant-based feed into inositol and inorganic phosphorus for animal use. When used in chicken feed, it can increase the utilization rate of phosphorus in plant-based feed materials by 60%, reduce the anti nutritional effect of phytate phosphorus, reduce feed costs, and alleviate the environmental pollution caused by phytate phosphorus.
 

 

Function

(1) Hydrolyze phytate in feeds, release digestible phosphorus, and increase the utilization of phosphorus in feed.

(2) Reduce the amount of supplemental inorganic P to lower the feed cost.

(3) Decrease the harmful environmental impact of phosphorus from animal manure in areas with intensive livestock production.

(4) Release other essential nutrients like proteins and inorganic cations, to give the feed a higher nutritional value.
