Function

Mequinol is a chemical substance that looks like a white flake or waxy crystal. The molecular formula is C7H8O2.It is used as a

polymerization inhibitor for vinyl type plastic monomers, UV inhibitors, dye intermediates, and antioxidant BHA (3-tert-butyl-4-

hydroxyanisole) for synthesizing edible oils and fats and cosmetics. It is an important intermediate for fine chemical products such

as medicines, spices and pesticides.  

Application

Mequinol is mainly used as a polymerization inhibitor for vinyl plastic monomers, UV inhibitors, dye intermediates,and used in the

synthesis of edible oils and cosmetics antioxidant BHA, etc. Its biggest advantage is that the monomer after adding MEHQ does

not need to be removed during copolymerization with other monomers, it can be directly copolymerized with ternary elements, and

can also be used as an antioxidant, antioxidant, etc.
